Why do people complain?

Welcoming the month of September.
2

August is over. Summer is over. The honeymoon is over. Back to school. Things are getting serious. The temperature is changing. Leaves are falling. Halloween decorations are going up in Walmart. Birds are flying south. It’s a new month. It’s a new newsletter.

That’s right — I am following through on my promise to deliver more paywalled posts. The 21st will remain a statistical and data-driven round up of the health of this project, but I will also include a “welcoming the month” post with a focus on qualitative self-reflection. People are saying,

“Please, Dr. Deep Left! We can’t handle this much content! I work a 9-5 job! I have a family for God’s sake! I’m part of a local t-ball club! I don’t have time for this!”

People are saying they’re tired of reading. They’re tired of watching. They can’t take it anymore. “Stop writing, please! Stop doing interviews every week!”

No!

We’re not stopping! There are no brakes on this train! I will not stop until —
