It’s always very disconcerting for me to learn how much more complicated and manipulative sex becomes when women are involved

Do you... think there are no judgmental, insulting, exploitative, manipulative, or abusive gay guys?

To be fair I don’t think this is at all a representative sample of sex with women. This looks like an extreme outlier case!

>I am Harry Sisson. We are all Harry Sisson, or we will become him, someday.

I am not Harry Sisson, have never been Harry Sisson and will never be Harry Sisson.

I am not Harry Sisson and will never be him because I have a wife and a bunch of kids. Cheating on my wife would make me a less effective husband and father, because hypocrisy is an ineffective position. Cheating on her with retarded whores who expose you for clout would likely get me divorced, wrecking my kids' lives. Even if I could avoid divorce, I would lose moral authority and respect, making it harder for me to help my kids make the right decisions which will lead to them having big, healthy families. By acting like Harry Sisson, I would be destroying my own evolutionary fitness and adding to my long list of sins for which I'll have to answer to God.

I have never been Harry Sisson because, even in my hedonistic secular days, I would never have focused on something as lame as getting a girl who liked me to send me nudes. My goals were always more concrete and material than that. As lief be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb.

In the big picture, this is all Mouse Utopia behavior, sociosexual dysfunction leading inexorably up to a collapse.

I think there is an argument that if you live in such a shitty environnement you will get a false accusation and become a Harry Sisson. Even when you got a wife and kids you just need 1 woman to go against you for rational or irrational reasons (like being faithful to your wife) for her to be vindictive towards you like these women are against Harry.

Just the public attention to something false can erode your image and reputation, no matter how fase the allegations are.

Fortunately, I'm a religious Jew and am never alone with a woman who's not in my family, so not a ton of room for false accusations.

That is a good thing, in the workplace I also got recommended to never be with a woman 1-1 in a meeting. And while not as religious as my peers I still apply avoid being alone with a woman who is not my partner out of respect for her.

I agree with DeepLeft here tho, demonizing heterosexual white (or other) men is not a good policy for anyone.

Agree, one of the things our societal decline in birthrates has exposed is how effective traditional religion is at maintaining replacement level birthrates even amindst general decline. It creates stable homes in a culture where dating and marriage are unstable. It creates a subculture of marital health and fidelity.

But the right has destroyed the church by covering up and defending pedophiles. They made it so much of their personality they lied to elect the most famous pedophile in the world to be President. The church has been declining at a precipitous rate due to the hypocrisy.

Mainline churches are in decline. Conservative churches are growing.

That's deceptive. Are they growing or are they assimilating a portion of decline from the "mainline churches"?

A mega-church is not evidence of growth of a religion, it is evidence of its decline. Like Wal Mart, one successful mega-church is the death of likely 200 local churches.

Right, because there are no Liberals who left the church angrily after seeing church corruption from their own families.

Anyone who is a student of demographics knows that just because someone is born into a religious family, it doesn’t mean they will remain within the church.

I only made it through half of this; but there's a huge difference culturally between what guys used to do 10 years ago and what they do now. A big part of that is honesty, "I am not interested in anything serious" is a key phrase that he needed to say; and then she can decide how much emotional risk she's willing to take. By lying, it creates a false dynamic and betrayal. I have no problem with guys who want to play games... until they lie. Which wasn't actually normal 20-10 years ago and has become very prevalent in recent years. Avoiding commitment vs faking commitment are two completely different things.

Normie lib lady here -- while I largely agree with this piece, I'll note two things. First, Sisson was *not* canceled. A couple years he might have been, but lefties seem to be recognizing that we need to tolerate male misbehavior again. One day, we might even reclaim Bill Clinton.

Second, your antipathy towards women takes you to some weird places. Take this:

"There is nothing more deceptive than pretending to be attracted to a man, and then turning him around and calling him “creepy, predatory, gross.” These women don’t believe anything they’re saying. They are making these false claims as an act of revenge against Harry for the crime of not marrying them — or whatever the Gen Z equivalent is (long-term-partnering?).""

You are right that the women behaved badly here. They tried to ruin a dude because he disappointed them romantically. But they obviously didn't pretend to be attracted to him. They *were* attracted to him, hence the nudes. And it's natural to believe that if someone hurts you, they've committed some moral error. They do believe he was predatory. Their reaction was just way over the top. Thankfully, they failed.

Let’s be real: Harry Sisson has the most punchable face in human history. His resting expression says “please, punch me here,” and the second he speaks, it escalates to “I want your knuckles in my sinuses.”

(For legal reasons, I’m not saying anyone should punch Harry. I’m saying that’s what his face is communicating to me, personally, with great urgency.)

But as silly as that is? I think that’s what this whole discourse boils down to. Not ethics. Not victimhood. Just vibes. It’s how he looks, how he speaks, how he performs allyship with a smugness that makes people want to expose him just to knock him off the pedestal.

And yet—I’ve got to hand it to you. You’re willing to wade into this radioactive swamp with clarity, humor, and a point. That’s rare. Most people either moralize or meme. You did both and still managed to raise real questions about selective outrage, sexual status games, and political hypocrisy. I respect the hell out of that.

Now, as for the core issue: it’s not about what Harry did. It’s about who Harry is—or rather, how high up the status pole women think he is. If he had movie star looks or family money, this entire situation would vanish in a puff of “he’s just hot” rationalizations. But he doesn’t. So instead of “sliding into DMs,” it becomes “predatory behavior.” That’s the game.

And both sides play it.

Your party lost its mind over Trump’s locker room talk. Called it disqualifying. Misogynistic. Predatory. And maybe it was. But now here comes a Zoomer golden boy, riding the wave of blue-check privilege, doing the same basic mating dance in a slightly more digital format—and suddenly, we’re supposed to feel sorry for him?

Nope. Either it’s all fair game… or none of it is.

I’m not saying Harry should be canceled. I’m saying neither should Trump. And that’s actually where left and right could meet—if either side was brave enough to admit that humans are horny, messy, status-driven animals who say dumb things when chasing attention. The real problem isn’t sex. It’s the moral performance about sex.

And yeah, there’s a deeper danger here too.

When normal male desire becomes taboo—but drag sex shows for kids are applauded—you’re not building tolerance. You’re building backlash. You’re creating a generation of men who feel like even flirting is radioactive unless you’re queer, famous, or apologizing while you do it.

Keep doing that, and they won’t just leave your movement. They’ll light it on fire on the way out.

So here’s my olive branch: you’re right that Democrats are losing young white men. You’re right that the purity spiral is unsustainable. And you’re right to say this isn’t about Harry—it’s about whether straight men are allowed to exist without being pre-cancelled for the sin of wanting a girlfriend and not being charming enough while asking.

I’m not defending Harry. I’m defending the principle.

And on that front? We might just be on the same side.

Right now, it's just a bunch of guys whining on the Internet. But second-wave feminism started in consciousness-raising circles.

You have to find other men who think the same way. Networking was never my strong point, so I can take you no further. But I can tell you it's not just you.

I think the most practical thing might be to join the Trump train, your other reservations (many of which I share) aside. They seem much more tolerant of minor transgressions on their side.

“Some Democratic strategists argue that Democrats need to “go back to their base,” and more aggressively signal in favor of black nationalism.”

I consume a lot of political content but missed this. Who said this?

“The Democratic Party in 2024 is the most pro-minority political force in America’s history.”

Notably, this phenomenon seems to manifest primarily among certain minority groups—specifically, non-white gays and women. In these circles, there appears to be a pronounced discomfort with, and even disdain for, expressions of masculinity by minority men. A cursory look at Title IX cases indicates that black men are disproportionately represented among defendants, and some studies suggest they are up to seven times more likely to be falsely accused.

There’s a pervasive bias against all expressions of sexualized aggression but *especially* when it’s exhibited by minority men. Hence their hemorrhaging.
