Poor white people have an obsession with poop. Sectionalism Archive put it best:
Modern Amerikwans are actually proud of their gastrointestinal dysfunctionality. They boast about the toilet they wrecked after having taki hot sauce mac and cheese with a side of Gordita Crunchwrap Supreme. They interrupt light conversation to talk about their lactose intolerance, or their IBS, and about how they are constantly farting and shitting all over the place. I don’t wanna hear it, dude.
Maybe I have developed a caricature of poor white people in order to grant myself a false sense of superiority over them. Or maybe I am simply observant.
Middle class whites do not have an obsession with poop.
I’m not sure that an obsession with poop can be derived from low intelligence alone. It is possible that poop stimulates the most basic mechanism of humor, which is taboo-breaking. The most elemental taboo is against poop. Not to get too Freudian, but there is possibly some sort of deep ancestral evolutionary psychology behind excretion and territorial marking. Poop jokes take this ancient, primordial taboo and bring it into the world of language, as a form of humor.
In this sense, excretory humor is a form of linguistically sublimated territorial aggression. It is performed with the same spirit as the animal which marks its territory to demonstrate its dominance over a particular area. It is not a lack of intelligence which drives poop jokes, but a form of aggression.
The inverse is also true. Consider a dog which, rather than making a mess all over the floor, is training to bark or paw at the door to be let out. How long will a dog endure the pain of restricting itself? I am not sure what the limit is, and it would surely be a cruel thing to test. But in restricting itself, the dog is demonstrating its fealty, its discipline, its adherence to the law set down by its master. It is showing respect and deference to the rule of the master.
By contrast, the white trash poop-joker is aggressively demonstrating his lack of adherence to the rules, his aggression, and his willingness to make “stuck up” whites uncomfortable. This can play out within a conservative or leftist context.
