The trans-to-nazi Pipeline.
the story of Vrillium.
This is Vrillium.1 On Instagram, he has 162k followers.
A few years ago, he was a transvestite drug addict who marched for BLM in skirts and fishnet stockings, wearing a shirt that said, “Internet Princess.” For his violent rhetoric, he attracted the attention of the FBI in 2020.2 Then he found Jesus, and now he posts Substack essays on Bioleninism:
The west is white, it’s European, without this essential piece of our existence there is no west.
Vrillium is still a gooner, but instead of Grindr, he edges to political pornography.
People aren’t coincidentally attracted to social taboos. The outsideness of a fetish is the source of its power.3
In a hyper-globalized world where the individual is an infinitely small cog in an incomprehensibly large machine, the desire to be seen, heard, and understood is screaming louder than ever.4
The more isolated, alone, and helpless we feel, the more we hyper-focus on the few things that we can control: sexual obsession, self-conception, and identity.5
If great suffering produces great art,6 then identity confusion produces performative identity extremism. The weaker and more fragile the ego, the more desperately it insists upon itself.
As the outer world becomes more confusing, arbitrary, or absurd, we retreat into the inner world, a sanctum of clear delineation, absolute categorization, and strict self-definition.
Floating in space, lost at sea, the inward-looker seeks the inner essence of hidden identity, divorced from the practical reality of day-to-day life. His head is “in the clouds.”7
Leftist therapy encourages a spiral, deeper and deeper, into self-acceptance, self-love, and self-obsession. Trauma must be recovered, memories falsified, all with the intent of naming, blaming, and scapegoating.8
On the right, the spiral submerges into ancient pedantry and esoteric idols. It is the fetishization of icons and saints,9 obscure dogmas and memetic trivia;10 obsessively following e-celeb drama;11 looksmaxing; pouring over maps, graphs, and HBD charts, the superstitious astrology of incels.12
Points are awarded in this virtual reality with the collection of conspiracies. The moon landing was fake, space is fake, dinosaurs are a hoax, the earth is flat, or even hollow.13
Society tells you to cook your meat, so eat it raw. Society says don’t smoke, so start smoking.14 Society says Hitler is bad, so he must be the greatest man to have ever lived. Alright, you want to hear something really based? The age of consent is a Jewish trick meant to suppress the white birth rate. If it wasn’t for the Jews, I would have a beautiful 14 year old wife, a factory job, and 8 children.
Every revolt against the mainstream is a desire to be “seen.” The narcissism of small differences leads to trans activists fixating on JK Rowling, not because she is their polar opposite (she’s a center-leftist feminist), but because she “intrudes on their turf.”15
Similarly, right-wingers fear being “crowded out” as their talking points become “too popular” or “too mainstream.” Vrillium differentiates himself from “the crowd” by claiming that JD Vance, the most anti-immigration (presumptive) presidential nominee in nearly a century, is still too moderate on immigration.16
Crazy Enough to Tell the Truth
When I say that there is a “trans to Nazi pipeline,” I’m not suggesting that all transgender people are secretly Nazis, or morally equivocating between the two.17 I’m not trying to stoke up hatred against trans people, or scapegoat them for all the problems of the world.18
The term “pipeline” isn’t meant to assign blame, but refers to the deep underlying psychological connections between two identity-obsessed movements.19 In analyzing these archetypes, I want to extend sympathy to them and understand them.
Even if both are motivated by narcissism, that does not preclude some of their claims about discrimination from having merit.
There really is a right-wing push to blame trans people for everything. Chris Rufo claims that trans people are responsible for a “rising tide of violence.” Trans people are a convenient scapegoat for all of society’s ills.20
Anti-white racism is also real, and crimes against white people have been ignored and covered up. The most famous example is that of Rotherham.
But let’s put these crimes in their larger context.
Even if trans people are unfairly scapegoated, claims of “trans genocide” are untenable in a society which celebrates and legally enshrines them as a protected class.21 Similarly, the harms caused by anti-white racism are small when compared to other social ills.
But for many pro-white people, these harms cannot be possibly quantified, because “even one is too many.” Anti-white crimes are symbolic of a larger culture of fear, humiliation, scapegoating, and resentment.
For every white woman raped by a migrant, there may be 100 others who are afraid to go out at night. For every white man killed in an interracial hate crime, there may be 100 others who are bullied and denigrated by Hollywood and the education system. Whether or not that is true, that is the narrative of the pro-white cause.
This narrative is especially attractive to downwardly mobile white people, who have less stable families, less religious participation,22 and less communal support.23 If society looks down on you for being poor, and also for being white, and also provides you with less sympathy for being male, then anti-white hate crimes gain a new significance as the “tip of the iceberg.”
Downwardly-mobile Queers.
Downwardly mobile whites feel neglected, ignored, and abused.24 When a grand narrative echoes their inner pain, everything “clicks.” It just makes sense, intuitively.25
When a right-wing influencer rants on stream about how “white people are under attack,” he gets likes and views.26 If he were instead to say, “I am under attack,” people are less likely to pay attention.27 Emotional validation is the reward for the collectivization of suffering.
In the same way, queer identity28 is also correlated with downward mobility. We shouldn’t be surprised if there is cross-over between queers and Nazis, even if ideologically, they are polar opposites.
Glamorized images of rich, white, urban queers are promoted on social media. But in reality, queer people are equally likely (and in some cases, more likely) to be born into rural, poor, or non-white families. They are more likely to come from families with mental health issues, drug problems, and legal troubles, all of which signal downward mobility.29
A 2019 report from LGBTmap.org found that:30
Rural teens are just as likely as urban teens to identify as queer.31 This is striking, since white people are less likely to be queer, and rural areas tend to be whiter. Rural white teens are more queer than urban white teens, despite the “discouraging effects” of conservative religious culture.
Vermont leads the country in rural residents (93% of counties are rural), but also has the sixth highest proportion (5.2%) of queer adults.32
Queer teens are twice as likely to experience homelessness as non-queer teens.33
Incarcerated teens are twice as likely to be queer (10% vs 20%). Up to 40% of incarcerated teen girls identify as queer.
16% of all transgender adults have been incarcerated, which is 3x the national average (5%).
Downwardly Mobile vs “Poor”
Downwardly mobility isn’t a static condition. It is a dynamic direction, a narrative of time and space: where we came from, and where we’re going.34
Imagine a family where the first generation are members of a church, respected in the community, with a stable income. Rituals like family dinners, fishing trips, and holidays provide a sense of place and purpose.
In the second generation, the family falls away from the church, and struggles to find work in an area which has de-industrialized. Thanksgiving and Christmas become opportunities for political debates, rather than bringing the family closer together.
Now imagine the third generation, with no religious upbringing at all. This generation is “blackpilled” on marriage and homeownership.35 The divorce rate declines because fewer people even bother to get married. Sexual dysfunction increases, intimacy shrivels, and friendships wither.
Intergenerational decline creates a crisis of confidence.36 Notions of a “hidden gender” or a “forgotten race” offer themselves up as radical solutions. These narratives bind downwardly mobile whites together on the basis of shared victimhood.37
Statistics of rising wages or improvements in health and technology are irrelevant. Feelings do not care about your facts. Trans genocide and white genocide are imminent — any day now, they are coming to kill us.
Downward mobility extends to every aspect of self-esteem, not just economics or religion.38 If a man has the same income and education as his father, but his likelihood of marriage is lower, that could be a form of downward mobility.39
If he maintained the economic status of his father, but he was subjected to moral shaming at the hands of teachers or employers on the basis of his race or religion (for being white or Christian), that could also be considered a case of downward social mobility.40

Downwardly mobile individuals tend to “dig in their heels,” while upwardly mobile individuals may try to leave the identity group entirely.41
Women are less loyal to downwardly mobile identities, and prefer to assimilate into upwardly mobile ones. This might help explain why white men are much more likely than white women to express white nationalist views. It might also explain why MtF was much more popular than FtM 20 years ago, but now that transgenderism is more mainstream, FtM trans has exploded in popularity.
Double Standards
Downwardly mobile whites are more likely to be queer and to be racist. However, this does not necessarily mean that queer sexuality is “fake,” or that anti-whitism is made up. Radical politics are amplified by psychological forces, but at the same time, there are glaring double standards which instigate these forces.
Consider the campaign to Stop Asian Hate:
Between March 2020 and May 2023, the organization Stop AAPI Hate received more than 11,000 self-reported incidents of anti-Asian bias, the vast majority of which involved harassment, bullying, shunning and other discrimination incidents.
Of all racial groups, Asians are the least likely to be victims of murder. They are half as likely to be a victim of interracial murder as compared with whites.4243 Can you imagine a group called “Stop White Hate” receiving support from politicians and celebrities? A group which is richer, safer, and more educated has permission to agitate for collective victimhood — but white Americans lack this permission. If you complain about it, you are racist.
My intention is not to inflate hysteria over interracial crime. Still, there is a clear moral double standard. Asian victims are sacred, while white victims are ignored. Downwardly mobile whites, who feel they have nothing to lose but their chains, lash out against blatant hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy doesn’t excuse white sadism toward other groups, but it does help explain why “downward narcissists” are funneled into white identity rather than, say, Seventh Day Adventism.44
I am not encouraging white grievance mongering, white Kendism, or proposing an ethnostate. But just as transgender people are scapegoated and discriminated against, pro-whites correctly identify a double standard.
Autism and Hypocrisy
Most people are conformists. If society says X, they believe X. If society says Y, they believe Y. What transgender and pro-white people have in common is that they relentlessly hyper-focus on a particular aspect of identity (gender or race) and find certain contradictions in social dogma.45
“Normal” people rationalize contradictions and tolerate cognitive dissonance. Autistic people, by contrast, find hypocrisy extremely aggravating and struggle to accept social norms, “just because we say so.”46
If society obsesses over “stopping Asian hate,” but affords no attention to anti-white hate,47 that’s a contradiction. To steal a line from Matthew Yglesias, to pursue such lines of inquiry is “unseemly and inappropriate.”
There are two groups of people who don’t care about being unseemly or inappropriate:
Autistic people, who lack the ability to understand social rules, and are therefore “blind” to social realities;
Narcissistic and anti-social people, who know fully well what the social rules are, but deliberately break them in rebellion.
Attributing autistic traits to transgender and pro-white people might be accurate in some cases. Autism, however, is over-diagnosed. The rise in autism is a product of federal law and academic incentives.
Since autistic traits are not rising, autism cannot be responsible for the explosion in transgender or white identity. Rather, it’s more plausible that the extremist drive to “take things to their logical conclusion” is rooted in anti-sociality and narcissism.
In the case of Vrillium, he went from posting nude photos of himself online to denouncing JD Vance as a “tool of the Jews.” Both are expressions of anti-social or narcissistic tendencies, breaking taboos and seeking attention. In the trans to Nazi pipeline, outer ideology changes, but the inner personality remains the same.
Conclusion.
Narcissism and anti-social traits are pathologized as mental illnesses because they irritate, disturb, and upset people. But there is no such thing as mental illness from a Darwinian perspective.
There are mental disabilities resulting from deleterious mutations, like retardation or schizophrenia. But these are quite distinct from extreme personality traits, as in the case of someone who enjoys trolling or who cannot handle hypocrisy.
Narcissism and anti-social traits exist on a spectrum. There is a healthy amount of both. In an attention economy, making yourself stand out is a practical necessity. The absence of anti-social traits, in the extreme, leads to conformism and a “herd” mentality.
Even though narcissism and anti-sociality are annoying at the fringes, in moderation, they allow for individuals to experiment and explore beyond the consensus of tradition. Without these traits, science, philosophy, and progress would be impossible.48
While describing the psychology of ideology does not refute those ideas, it does help us understand why extremists from one side sometimes switch, and quite suddenly, to the exact opposite ideology. In both cases, they are hungry for the absolute consistency of the Platonic inner essence, since they have nothing “earthly” to ground them.
Social media provides a feedback loop where people become unmoored from reality, which intensifies narcissistic anti-sociality, which then deconstructs social structures, which then leads to dissociation. This crisis of authority which can only be solved in one of two ways:
The Puritan solution, where a cult of extremist weirdos starts a new civilization;
The Anglican solution, where the government forces everyone into the box of compromise.49
Leave your preferred solution in the comments section below.
If Vrilliam reads this: I cringe hearing you talking about “da Jews” but I imagine being “exposed” is very upsetting. My intention in writing this wasn’t to attack you specifically or to make you feel bad, but to try to understand your story as a symbol of larger psycho-cultural forces. Also, great pics, looking thick.
For the uninitiated, the term “Vril” comes from a book of Anglo-Saxon pagan New Age esotericism, published in 1871. The Vril-ya are described as having the skin of Amerindians and large black eyes. Somehow this got lost in translation, and the term Vril now refers to the “blond haired, blue eyed, pagan Aryan life force.”
Alienation breeds lust — distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Narcissism intensifies in dissociation… as a cope or reaction…
[Porn “addiction” is an addiction to control.]
Camille Paglia, Sexual Personae.
The story of Harry Potter as one of “self-discovery” through the wizard identity is an example of how these fantasies can be less destructive, but just as powerful and pervasive.
It starts with the parents as a source of authority, and then expands outward into the superstructure of capitalism, racism, sexism, homophobia, patriarchy, whiteness, cisgenderism, objectivism, eurocentrism, and so on.
Radical Islam, with its ritualized hand-washing and absolute prohibition on female visibility, shares these traits. “Based!” and fetishized by both the far left (via Gaza) and far right (white Sharia, or as Vrillium calls it, “the Halal Right”).
This isn’t exclusive to Orthodox Christians or Muslims: see the myriad laws and commandments that Orthodox Jews create around Shabbat permissions and violations.
A mirror image of leftist K-Pop obsession.
The spiral starts as a rebellion against the norm, nested in the Russian dolls of conspiracy theory.
Raw meat and cigarettes are much more acceptable than these other ideas — by all means, you do you. I’m simply including them here not to equate their negative effects with hateful conspiracies, but to show how these beliefs correlated as they follow from the same heuristic, “everything the Jews say is bad is actually good.”
Get it? A TERF on their turf? Yeah, I thought was pretty funny too.
Nicki Minaj is cancelled by her fans for showing up at Turning Point. White nationalists regard Tucker Carlson and JD Vance as “subhuman” for being “insufficiently pro-white.”
This behavior is justified as a strategy to “move the Overton window.” But even if that were its practical effect, (extremists often succeed at bullying moderates into adopting their positions) the emotional origin of this behavior is still narcissistic.
When I write that there is a “libertarian to Nazi pipeline,” I don’t think libertarians take much offense, but I assume trans people are more sensitive.
When I analyze the trans phenomenon, the defensive response is: “you’re erasing and participating in the genocide of trans people.”
When I analyze the far right, I get a similar response: “you’re anti-white; you’re participating in white genocide; you are complicit in gang rape; you want to hurt white people.”
I want to clarify in this footnote that I’m not intending to “disprove white nationalism” by attacking the psychological profile of its adherents. I am trying to objectively understand a political phenomenon from a sociological lens, to clarify why there may be, in some rare instances, a cross over between trans and Nazi ideology — without discrediting either side. (I’ll do the discrediting in my other 500 essays — can’t do everything in one essay, folks).
There is a faction of conservatives who are disturbed both by the rise of transgenderism, and the rise of pro-whitism. As is common in team sports, it is convenient to merge all of one’s enemies into a single term: subhuman, anti-white, fascist, Nazi, or “woke right.”
In the term “woke right,” the pro-white obsession over race is analogized to the anti-white obsession over race, or the woke obsession with gender. All phenomena spring from the same source, and can be equally dismissed.
But this is not an argument. Even if it were true that two groups share similar psychological motives or emotional personality traits, that tells us nothing about the truth or falsehood of their claims.
Maybe transgender brains are biologically different, and that fact can be true independent of whether transgender people are more “inward looking” than the average person. White people could be discriminated against or morally scapegoated in certain environments, and this fact remains true even if the people screaming it the loudest are genuinely mentally ill. You can pathologize your opponents, but that does not make them wrong. At some point, arguments must be made.
While the conservative proponents of the “woke right” thesis claim to be upholding the “true western tradition” of judging people as individuals rather than collectives, their tendency to pathologize their opponents is quite literally judging people as a collective, rather than examining the claims being made. If conservatives like Jordan Peterson got their wish, and we cancelled everyone who he decides is “psychopathic,” then the western tradition of debate would be overruled by the fallacy of ad hominem. Just as liberalism rejects judging a black individual by the crime rate of his cohort, it must also eventually judge arguments with reference to empirical reality.
Calling someone “transphobic, and therefore wrong,” is not an argument. Calling someone “Jewish, and therefore wrong,” is not an argument. Calling someone “woke right” is still not an argument. We can pathologize, attack motives, and point out deviance, but we still have to come up with ways of objectively measuring reality.
It’s easy to dog-pile on a group that is perceived as weird, marginal, or mentally ill.
Discrimination, sure, but equating discrimination with genocide is an insult to the actual victims of genocide, who are killed en masse by the state and forced to flee as refugees.
There are countries where trans people have full rights and protections. If Trump was really carrying out a genocide, wouldn’t trans people flee? On both sides of my family, when my ancestors were threatened with genocide, they packed a small suitcase and rushed for the boats. I find it insulting that trans people use the term so lightly when referring to discrimination.
Most white nationalists convert to racism and Christianity (or paganism) simultaneously.
My intention here is not to claim that downwardly mobile people are wrong because of who they are, but that downwardly mobile people are naturally attracted to narratives which position them as “oppressed” by some larger force, whether that is transphobia or anti-white racism.
These people have weak socio-emotional support systems and fragile identities. The narrative that “we’re under attack” appeals to them, since that’s how they’ve felt their whole lives.
It gives credence to emotions that they struggle to express directly.
By transmuting personal problems into abstract “civilizational” terms, downwardly mobile whites receive newfound sympathy and a sense of hope.
They would ignore him as one among millions of forgettable self-pitying whiners.
I prefer queer to LGBTQ, because acronyms are a robotic assault on the English language.
The conservative theory of “luxury beliefs” and “good times make weak men” implies that wealthy cities produce degenerate values. This fits the stereotype that queer people are “produced” by wealth and urbanism. But the relationship isn’t so one-sided: queer people are attracted to wealth and urbanism, despite being of a disproportionately poor or even rural background.
Rural queer people who grow up in religious and conservative families are more likely to stay in the closet. As soon as they have the ability to leave, many flock to pro-queer cities.
One potential problem with this study is that it assumes geographic homogeneity between states:
“Williams Institute research shows that at least 10% of youth in California identify as LGBT. California is home to more than 12% of the country’s population and is therefore reasonable for drawing inferences about the broader U.S. population.”
However, if queer identification is suppressed in conservative states, then this assumption becomes more plausible.
Another potential flaw is that they consider Wyoming to be an “urban state” and New York to be a “rural state” based on the following logic:
If at least 50% of a county’s population lives in rural areas, the Census codes that county as majority rural. We then repeat that process at the state level: if at least 50% of a state’s counties are rural counties, then that state is coded as “majority-rural.” We do not measure rurality by the total number of state residents living in rural areas, since the population density of urban areas would mean that every state would be a majority-urban state.
This is despite the fact that liberal parents are much more likely to live in urban areas. If we assumed that liberal parents were “causing” queer identity, or that conservative parents could “prevent” this identity, then the rural-urban equality in queer identity must mean that rurality (downwardly mobility) is a contributing factor to queer identity.
“A national survey of youth experiencing homelessness found that it is as common in rural communities as in urban communities: among youth (ages 13-17), 4.4% of rural youth and 4.2% of urban youth reported homelessness, while 9.2% of rural young adults (ages 18-25) and 9.6% of urban young adults reported this experience… However, youth homelessness in rural communities is more likely to be “hidden,” as youth are more likely to couch surf, sleep outside, or sleep in a vehicle, rather than in places like homeless shelters (where they can be counted and provided services).”
Intergenerational shifts in socio-economic status can embolden narratives about gender and race.
Shifts are comorbid: poverty correlates with unemployment, and the decline in religious authority is tied to drug abuse.
This theory works at the levels of countries too. If Germany won WWI, do you think Spengler would have written Decline of the West with the same pessimistic conclusion, or would it have been revised in a most optimistic direction?
This is only one narrative of “decline,” but such downward progression is not exclusive to whites. While first generation immigrant groups generally benefit from increased wealth and prosperity, their may suffer from a “split identity,” where the culture of their parents has become alien to them. This produces resentment, and as a result, second generation immigrants (too assimilated to appreciate their privilege, but too alienated to feel at home) are often the most “woke.”
Vrillium may have been raised in the Russian Orthodox faith that he now professes. [When he was 18 he wore a Christian cross, so it seems like he “fell away” and then “came back” to Christianity over the course of a few years. On second thought, he was also wearing a cross while posting gay nudes of himself, so nevermind.] However, it seems more likely that he went through a phase of experimentation with a non-Christian identity, and then manufactured a new identity out of this experimental cauldron.
When considering the manner in which both queer and pro-white people might “deconstruct” and then later “reconstruct” their identities, it is important to note that 58% of transgender people who grow up in church abandon it as a part of their “transition”:
Among transgender people who have ever been part of a faith community, nearly one in five (19%) left their faith community after facing rejection, and nearly two in five (39%) left due to [the] fear that they would be rejected. [Page 17.]
Women who are highly educated tend to “box themselves in” to a smaller pool of men, and as a result, they might seek explanations for their romantic unhappiness in radical feminism.
When I say “downward mobility,” I’m not dismissing pain as “fake,” or blaming every individual for the circumstances of their life.
For example, upwardly mobile gypsies stop identifying as gypsies.
At 1.4 per 100k, the total number of Asians murdered per year averages 361.2.
For whites, 82% of crime is interracial, while for blacks, 89% of crime is interracial. Murder, specifically, in 2016.
While the FBI data for 2016 doesn’t provide crime victimization rates for Asians, we can try to infer these from arrest rates. Asians made up only 83 out of the 7,964 arrests for murder in 2019. This means that while Asians are over 7% of the population, they are only 1% of murderers. Whites make up 46% of arrestees, despite being 60% of the population, and blacks make up 51% of arrestees, despite being 14% of the population.
Since we estimate that 361 Asians are murdered per year, and yet there are only 83 Asians arrested for murder each year, that 278 Asians are murdered by non-Asians (whites and blacks). What percentage of these constitute “hate crimes” is difficult to determine. Frankly, “Stop Asian Hate” has an incentive to ignore motives and simply assume that every single interracial crime against Asians is motivated by “hate.”
These moths will fly toward the light of perceived injustice, no matter how brightly or dimly it shines.
They then try to resolve with radical conclusions (surgery or mass deportations).
Men are masculine, and women are feminine. But what if a man feels feminine? Would he still be “a real man”? That’s a phrase we use: “he’s a real man,” or, “he’s not a real man.” If maleness becomes “unreal,” then transgender identity becomes plausible. This follows logically from a word-for-word dissection of a colloquial phrase.
Most people will say, “but that’s just a phrase. You can’t take one little phrase and make a whole ideology out of it.” Well, that’s where you’re wrong! You can do that. And people do it all the time.
(or attacks anyone who brings it up)
While white nationalists and transgender individuals are deviant from the norm, they are generally of above average IQ. Despite their intelligence, they possess an overwhelming neurotic attachment to a particular dogma. When the argument is framed in terms of identity and the right to exist, it’s impossible to discuss facts calmly and objectively, no matter how intelligent that person might be.
I was going to talk about the Nazi to trans pipeline but every case that I can think of basically ends in the person totally divesting themselves from public life, so it doesn’t seem as fun to cover.

I remember watching a video from a Youtube commie describing his journey from fash to tank. And he was like “I bet you guys didn’t even KNOW this sort of thing was possible.”
It’s actually the least surprising thing in the world that someone with a demonstrated tendency towards extremism just happened to be attracted to another form of extremism lol.
What I like about this argument is that it avoids the internet as the explanation behind both phenomenons, which I agree are two sides of the same coin. To use drug addiction as an example, downwardly mobile people with no positive prospects in life tend to get caught in drug addiction while well-adjusted people with community safety nets and social capital can avoid it despite also coming from similarly impoverished backgrounds. What that tells me about trans and Nazi is that the internet is functioning more like the drug that catches vulnerable people while healthy people escape descending down those rabbit holes despite also using the internet.
