In July 2023, I decided to become a full time writer. This is my 70th article on Substack.
When I first began writing in August, it was hidden from public view. My idea was to write a book. I am a perfectionist, and wanted to explode onto the world with all the answers to life’s major questions. Unfortunately, toiling in obscurity doesn’t pay the bills. With encouragement from my supporters, I started a Substack in November.
On December 21st, the Winter Solstice, I decided to push myself to write 1000-2000 words a day and to begin publishing weekly. It has been 151 days since the solstice, and I have written 197,633 words. Not quite 300,000, but certainly more than 150,000.
