It has been a full 12 months since I lost my job. I told myself for years that if I ever lost my job, I would seriously dedicate my life to accomplishing something worth dying for. We all have to die, so why not leave something good behind?

These personal posts are paywalled, but before I disappear behind the veil of exclusivity, I want to thank the free subscribers who are still liking, commenting, and re-stacking these posts. Just like other forms of social media (Twitter, Youtube), Substack has an algorithm. Viewer interaction puts my articles in front of more people.
